Welcome to TU Mawlamyine

Technological University (Mawlamyine) was first opened as a Government Technical Institute on 15 December, 1982. It was promoted to Government Technological College on 12 August, 1999, and upgraded to Technological University on 20 January, 2007. Dr. Min Zaw Aung has been serving as a Pro-Rector of Technological University (Mawlamyine).

Technological University (Mawlamyine) offers technological and engineering courses with its clear aims as follows:

  • to nurture outstanding engineering students as skillful labours and to develop human resources
